Emerging Leaders Committee Application

Expectations:

  • Actively participate at Emerging Leaders committee meetings (virtual & physical)
  • Actively participate at Emerging Leaders engagement activities (4 per year)
  • Provide valuable resources to Emerging Leaders
  • Please note this is a working committee and requires you to be active for the success of the young professional group.

Committee Opportunities: 
  • Membership Partner
    • Act as the main point-of-contact for all things Emerging Leaders. Host individual events for your assigned group members, remind them of meetings, check in with them at events, and gather their post-event feedback. Other tasks as assigned. 
  • Mentorship Partner
    • Partner with co-chairs to create a mentorship program for young HR Professionals between the Emerging Leaders and the local SHRM-Memphis chapter. Other tasks as assigned. 
  • Ambassadors
    • Welcome members and guests to each event, represent the group at professional chapter meetings, assist where needed.
